The Sybarus Bazaar Island
The Bazaar Island is actually a village of its own, a suburb of the Forbidden City of the Shadow Elves.
The Bazaar Island is the marketplace where goods for import and export are sold. There are numerous shops manned mostly by the merchant class, the gnomes. There are peddlars as well, also gnomes, and numerous tents offering the unusual and the custom-made, for a price. In addition to a marketplace, there is a small red-light district, centered around a pub/bar which offers amusments like erotic dancers and a smoking den.
The Bazaar Island also has a 'village green', a combination park and garden where herbs, vegetables, and flowers are grown to supplement the diet of those living in the Bazaar Village.
South of the Museum is the Tribunal area which is the link between the Bazaar and the City. It is here that people are held, questioned, and tried for crimes. The officials of the bazaar are highly respected, and accosting them in any way is considered blasphemous.
As yet inaccessible to non-Sybarites is the Village where most of the People of Sybarus live, and the dungeons.
