Be aware that it is the Sacred Duty of every Shadow Warrior to protect
and defend the law-abiding citizens of Sybarus, and that we have committed
every fibre of our beings to fulfilling this duty.
The people of Sybarus invite you to spend your coppers freely and in peace
in our Bazaar. Our merchants offer a wide array of items and services, from
baked goods to fine clothing.
Feel free to take what you need from our garden, pay your respects to the
dead, or venture into the dangerous and disturbing depths of the Underdark.
You may roam the Holm and Hunt there without restriction or fear of reprisal.
You are particularly welcome to eliminate any infidels you find.
We ask only that you do not harry the common citizens or the guards who
protect the peace, nor molest the Tribunal officials.
By this notice we have discharged our duty to inform you of Our ways. Mark
these terms of welcome, Outlanders, and bide them well!
For Dark and Terrible will be the anger of any Shadow Warrior who stumbles
upon the corpses of slaughtered Innocents. Swift and Relentless as a shadow
is our Wrath, with Death your only respite.
If I find you slaying those under my protection, expect this: The unwelcome
kiss of my blade slashing through your neck, and a relentless pursuit ending
with your death at my hands.
