A Challenge Issued to Mortals
Mortal, the World upon which you have wandered, laboured, died, and
reincarnated is a large one -- diverse and compelling, filled with wonders
and challenges.
We, the Wizards of Avenir, on behalf of Genesis, issue unto you a
New Challenge:
We challenge you to make the metamorphosis from mortal to wizard; to rise
above your struggles in the dust of this World in order that you may make
from that dust your own Creations. We challenge you to spread the wings
of your imagination and learn to fly, to code, to experience what lies
beyond the exhileration of bloodlust: the power to create something where
once there was nothing.
We extend our hands in Invitation. Come join us. The work of a Wizard is
difficult, even tedious and thankless, but ultimately rewarding. The mark
you make upon the face of Genesis is permanent, and nothing can match the
joy and pride you feel in mortal and wizard appreciation of your labours.
There is a place within the Tower of Realms in Sparkle, an easterly room
within which stands a board you cannot read. Upon that board you may post
your acceptance of this challenge. Specify within it your reasons for
desiring to join our ranks. Tell us of what you would create, what
domain(s) you would join, what questions you might have.
If you are deemed worthy of this Challenge, there will come a day when a
Liege or the Archwizard of Domains will contact you. Then you will begin
the process of metamorphosis from mortal to wizard. You will emerge from
your chrysalis reborn, beyond the grasp of Death, with the powers of Creation
at your fingertips.
