aerun is based on the theme provided in the many fantasy
bookes written for the Forgotten Realms series.
Faerun is easiest described as a large mainland of
Abeir-Toril. The different regions of Faerun ranges from
ice cold mountain ranges of Icewind Dale, coastal regions
like the Sword coast, lush forest areas, dale lands,
deserts and moors. Many rivers flows across the continent
and large tradeways forms a net to support the important
trade between the different regions.
Faerun also has a large pantheon, with a number of
different deities, and these are worshipped in
shrines and temples across Faerun.
The timeline is set before the Times of Trouble,
when the gods are ripped from their immortality
to be exiled from their divine planes to walk among
the mortals, a time of chaos and a time where magic is
unstable. We live before these chaotic times.
