Thoughts on Vamp layman suggestion.

I like Vampire lore a lot.
Anne Rice would probably be my favorite.
Told for a Vampire's perspective, Vampires even mere fledglings
are super powerful and dominate over mere mortals.
I think this is what we had closest to in Genesis.
With the rest of the guilds being way above the mere mortal
level too of course.
Other story's have Vamps being more readily battled by
normal humans.

There may be a lot of fun in having a Vampire lay guild.
Not super powered but opening more Vampire roleplay
to the masses. The vampires we have had Tarax has been
fortunate enough to roleplay with some of them at times.
Offering his neck and being taken into the swooning
embrace, the vampire communicating with him mind to mind.
RP gold.

Personally I feel it was a shame the Vamps were a
secretive family. Who more often than not hid their titles
and true nature.

Perhaps it goes back to the roleplay of mortals cannot know
we exist lest they arrive with pitchforks and torches and
murder us in the coffin. Hammer Horror style.

There would also be fun in having a vampire hunter guild
for other to join. Lots of Dr Van Helsings out of Cadu.

But coding two new guilds is likely not a priority.
I wonder would the vampires we are in danger of loosing
want to be part of it?

Another interesting possibility would be that the dark gift
could be passed on in the form of a curse.
Making it more like a club, or event..
You fall to a Vampire and they Sire you as a new vamp.
The lore differs here, some saying the vamp has to give
the victim their blood to Sire and others saying that
any killed by a vampire rise a vampire.

Would be fun to see Vampirism spreading through the
realms and Knights etc struggling to come to terms
with it. A la Aimee's RP.
The other option would be death to cleanse the system.

Or we could go all out and have a Vampires Vs. Werewolves
event. Where some players start out as Vamps and others
werewolves. It replaces all current guilds. Pkill
battles decide who turns most others / kills most enemies.
Nice idea for an event.
