I especially solicit comments from people who are new to Genesis. This page is for you. Did it help you? What was missing? Was it confusing? Which of the sections did you like best?

When making suggestions, keep in mind that I designed this site to supplement the Genesis help files, not to replace them. If something is explained adequately well in Genesis, then I see little need to duplicate that explanation here. It is my hope that this site will represent a well planned and helpful overview and introduction, that it will help to make ignorant newcomers knowledgable, and that it will cut down on the misinformation that is passed around.

Also keep in mind that this site is for newbies and not a place for veterans to share secrets. Enough of that crap goes on as it is; I'm not going to lower myself to the level of an "Old Boys' Club." Once you've read through this site, you will have more than enough knowledge to go out and learn on your own.

I will also accept contributions. I'll accept submissions in HTML or as plain text. I advise that you let me know before you write the contribution, since I may decide that the site doesn't need such a contribution. Moreover, if you send me a page, I reserve the right to change it in any way I deem appropriate. The original author will be listed as such, but I am an English grammar fascist and I am extraordinarily picky about abuse of HTML tags. Any HTML on this site will be compliant with the Final 3.2 standard. </rant>

When you mail, please indicate in the subject field that you are mailing about the Genesis Tutorial Page. I get many mails every day, and if I am busy, I often delete mails with blank or uninformative subject lines without bothering to read them. It would also ease my mind if you included your Genesis identity in the mail.
