cavenger Hunt 2008 Results

A total of 150 items were placed on the list for you all to find, 100 "normal"
items and 50 were continuously hidden by the AoE team. Not all hidden objects
were discovered. In total 65 participants submitted 2950 items in this year's
Halloween Scavenger Hunt.
Everybody who participated received general experience for every item that was
submitted. A bonus is awarded for every 25 items scavanged. Congratulations to
the top 10 presented herebelow.
1. Zingil : 140 items (49 AoE) Scavenger Hunter of the Realms.
2. Azalin : 135 items (46 AoE)
Xar : 135 items (45 AoE)
4. Poet : 133 items (50 AoE)
5. Rhynox : 131 items (44 AoE)
6. Armitace : 128 items (43 AoE)
7. Logg : 121 items (38 AoE)
8. Chade : 111 items (33 AoE)
9. Bombur : 102 items (39 AoE)
10. Nikiel : 96 items (21 AoE)
Of the smaller people we mention:
1. Milla : 65 items (17 AoE) Junior Scavenger Huntress of the Realms.
Unique Items
------------
It appeared that some three items we looked for weren't available in the realms
anymore, which is unfortunate. The plain shield and the iron key most certainly
were available, but not found. Emraht was the only person to find the small red
flower (a specific herb) and Logg found the piece of rope.
Teamwork pays off!
------------------
Seven teams registered for the even this year. The team of Xar, Armitace and
Rhynox had the highest score, finding 140 items or 394 /3 = 131 items average
each. The team of Diri, Abyss, Marduk and Nellnight got 82 items with only 56
max per person.
Collecting rewards
------------------
All people mentioned in this note above may claim their (experience) reward at
the Office of the Arch of Events in the Sparkle Tower. The awarded titles will
last one year. We hope you all enjoyed the event.
The 10th Scavenger Hunt next year will surely not be business as usual ...
