ost Esteemed Newbie Helpers ... Yours is truly a role that I feel is of the HIGHEST calling in our game. As such, you have my absolute respect and admiration for any and all help you choose to give to those who are new to our realms. Recently, there has been some controversy on the use of the newbie help line. As such, I feel it appropriate to post some guidelines for the behavior of non-newbies who feel inclined to participate in its use: - Be friendly. - Be courteous. - Be welcoming. - Offer advice on how to play. - Offer advice on which guilds exist to join. - Offer advice on where to look to get started with various things. - Do not try to recruit for a particular guild. - Do not speak to non-newbies who are on the line. - Keep all negativity off the line (i.e. speaking ill of certain guilds or persons.) - Use the line only for newbie help purposes.
