Re: Awesome Imbuements
Keltar, your math is wrong... You are writing about a specific imbue and how to get it, which is much harder. Try to get 9 cracked DEX stones in a week. Good luck with that... I write about _ANY_ imbue and how to get it for around 1800 plat, which is much easier. Let me add the first row to your ca...

Re: Awesome Imbuements
So apparently I have been a sinner this week... I went to imbue one of my weapons and after giving 1,000 platinum coins to the enchanter, Halfling slay for you!!! How... disappointing... 1K... gone. I guess you can get any faint imbue for around 1800 plats. Buying off auctions for not more then 40 ...

Re: Client for Genesis (Mac/Win/Linux) (Insomnia adventures)
first, mapper, it is not correctly recognizing new areas, and i'm playing with the newarea/deletearea aliases and still no luck on how to make it realize i moved to another area..... it just maps over the other map, and ends up like a laberinth that makes no sense, with wrongly mapped rooms from ot...

Re: Client for Genesis (Mac/Win/Linux) (Insomnia adventures)
I thought I'd give Mudlet a shot after using the web client for a couple of days, since the idea of more customization is tempting. That being said, I'm running into a few issues setting it up for Genesis. I'm using Hairetikos' additions, which seems to be working as far as everything I've tried. K...

Re: Client for Genesis (Mac/Win/Linux) (Insomnia adventures)
Even something that should be simple like setting up aliases and triggers is complicated for someone who has never used ^blahblah$ before - this is all foreign to me. So, I'd like to be able to use aliases, triggers, mapping capabilities, and whatever else people generally use a client for without ...

Re: Client for Genesis (Mac/Win/Linux) (Insomnia adventures)
I'm coming in pretty late to this whole discussion, and am hoping someone can help. I would love to use mudlet (which amusingly autocorrects to mullet, which I do not want to use), but I really don't have the time to dedicate to learning lua. It looks like some of you have it set up for Genesis and...

Re: Quest Hint
1 sighting of Dondel so far, on the Sparkle-Grey Havens ship. Unfortunately he had moved on before I got there. Anyone else that has ran into him? Also, only 1 person responded to me about the ferrets in Sanction, and that was to say they had issues as well. Anyone mind giving some pointers? Saw Do...

Re: Grinding areas for new players
I am talking mainly people fresh out of tutorial lands, and wanderer at most. Most will probably be greenhorne/beginner size. Gont is way out of the question, krougs as well. Unless you mean water krougs? They're perhaps not as dangerous as the main kroug area? I am really no kroug expert.. Water k...

Re: Grinding areas for new players
The area in question is for medium sized. I've been there ;) Wanderer can easily go through there, as far as I remember, so it is for smaller players. Also the magic map says "newbie area". No key neeed just unlock the door. Un/fortunately they are not neutral, but rather good, so killing...

Re: Two issues: 1. client for Mac? 2. server address and po
1. I've been using the webpage interface, but want to try out a client. It looks like zMUD and cMUD are for Windows. Can anyone recommend a good Mac client? Ives 1. mudlet is free and for mac, there is also a section on the forums where you can find a mapping script, specifically for Genesis as wel...
