Re: What killed the PvP?

There was this one MUD that I forgot the name of which even had different travel speeds, so you could run, jog, walk etc. and it would change the time it takes for you to travel but cost more stamina. Maybe something like that could be a solution (you can run without delay but you get tired really ...

Re: Fact-checking and critical thinking

Well what you should be more concerned about here is the racial imbalances. You have goblins that are the alpha race to the point that it's not even anyone coming close. That's a better crusade to do really. Get them to properly balance races Race issue is obvious (mentioned it few times in this to...

Re: Fact-checking and critical thinking

Min-maxed in this context means using what's allowed in caid + skill / tax allocations, right? or is it more about just dps? For this to make sense, it's important to establish this definition first. :) Yup - using what's allowed in caid to get most out of it. For example - not putting most of caid...

Re: Fact-checking and critical thinking

A wizard don't necessarily need to min-max anything to achieve good results - it's more about design, playability, luck and player interest since the difference between a "min-maxed" guild vs one that is not, is often small or insignificant. Size, and gear loadout probably matters much more. Luckil...

Re: Fact-checking and critical thinking

1a; Evil side lacked a rogue guild, hence the existence of this guild. Thematics, you might read about them in Sparkle library. 1b: I guess you have to ask the members about this. 2: All guilds follow certain caid limitations. FK don't break this general rule or limitation. 3: I guess you need to i...

Re: Fact-checking and critical thinking

What you presented aren't proof or facts, they are your opinions. You are of course entitled to your opinions, but when strong opinions are spread without any actual facts to back them up I don't think it's beneficial to anyone. What good can ever come out of it? If you're truly concerned that a pa...

And hey afaik it was not officially communicated about u being involved (it was with 2 other wizards). Did you know it's my favourite guild in all of Genesis?. No. I don't know what's your favo...

Re: Fact-checking and critical thinking

If you do have the facts, come talk to me and bring your facts and we'll discuss it. I gave two facts (quote I heard from a wizard + guild created by a wizard) -> and then wrote what points from your 'conspiracy list' could one easily make after connecting the dots here. but you immediately jumped ...

Re: Fact-checking and critical thinking

Ask yourselves, WHY would we do all the things above? Because there're many of you and you are pretty inconsistent :) Some wizards when code stuff want to focus on some fun features / mechanics / lore. Other want to just bend the rules as much as possible (within some boundaries I guess) to put in ...
