Enemies in Combat - Shorthand/ReGex/GMCP(?)

Is there a shorthand for opponents / enemies you (and ideally your team) are currently in combat with? You can do <exa enemy>, but that's only for the one you are attacking. You cannot do <exa second enemy>, <exa third enemy> and so on for the ones attacking you. I remember I used to have a ReGex th...

Re: The case for closure – fighter guilds

No, people are entitled brats because the norm has become to not work for what they want and instead expect it to be handed on a silver plate. People are entitled because many seem to think it's OK to contact you on discord and then expect to be full members within a week. Good attempt at trying to...

Re: The case for closure – fighter guilds

Redblade, Drazson (regarding thrill of recruitment) This is not my point. My point is about guilds being inactive, thus unable to perform their function and being valid choices for characters. My experiences are similar to yours - vastly positive. Every time I applied to a guild, I enjoyed the very...

Re: The case for closure – fighter guilds

Apologies for posting one under another. I've been scribing this answer in a separate file, and it got a bit out of hand. I think that it also concludes my typed characters pool for 2021. Stats are always interesting. Context is important though. So why do people think the top five guilds are so act...

Re: The case for closure – fighter guilds

The members are excellent at idling. Which those stats don't take into account. So guilds where characters are only awake when being actively played are of course seen as much less active than those where members are logged in 24/7. While people idling for the better portion of the day will obvious...

Re: The case for closure – fighter guilds

You clearly speak from a totally unenlightened point of view when talking about PoT. Their leadership has to my knowledge not been inactive for the last decade, and the guild is far from lacking members. Also your take on Rangers. Another view without knowledge. Really? I have always been a fan of ...

Re: The case for closure – fighter guilds

While I understand the devil's advocate position and arguing against better judgement, some of the guilds really don't bring much to the game and basically occupy the same space, diluting playerbase and making it difficult to pursue numerous paths for returning chracters / new players. As a person w...

Baphomet's Booth - Resist no Longer!

<r><CODE><s>[code]</s>Have you ever wondered why your local community never appreciates your carefully arranged, sacrificial rituals? They pass on the inivitations every time you kidnap a virgin? Their chants seem to lack fervour and dedication, almost like they did it for ther fear rather than joy ...

To Ghostly Peep from Ghastly Keep

<r><CODE><s>[code]</s>I have made an offering of two petrified rats at Sparkle Common Board. Thirteen more Peep-squeak... Thirteen more. And you better be ready or the terrors we are going to unleash... The shrieks... The cries... Desperate wailings. Our cook at the monastery has been cooling the br...

Spell Casting - Quality of Life request

Would it be possible to remove the penalty to casting spells with shields when out of combat? I understand the intention and reasoning behind the change, but I guess it shouldn't give any meaningful benefit if the rule only applies when actual fighting is going on? I must admit, I struggle a lot con...
