Re: Just Saying Hello!
Glad to be back, something about this game really resonates with me, the whole time I was away I could never really get it off my mind.

Re: What are you reading right now?
I like that time period as well, though I'm no expert by any means. Most of my sci fi reading has been Isaac Asimov's stuff, and some "best of" anthologies. That time period has a feel to it that I really like, though I can't quite put my finger on what it is exactly.

Re: Just Saying Hello!
I'm back. I had to give myself a bit of a self imposed suspension. I was really getting into the game when I first started two months or so ago, but it was beginning to become to demanding, and interfering with things it best shouldn't (work primarily :D ). I won't be on super often, but I'll be on ...

Re: What are you reading right now?
https://gamebooks.org/gallery/dlance/meetings1.jpg I haven't read any Dragonlance in a while, but my plans to explore Ansalon in the Genesis world got me in the mood to get back into the world of Dragonlance again and refresh my memory before I start exploring it in game. This is the first of six i...

Re: best way to get black book signatures
I know this is an old post, but I thought I'd post this here just in case it helps someone else. I found a surefire easy way to complete this quest. At the moment the Halloween scavenger hunt event is going on. So I sat myself in the skull in Sparkle and every time someone entered to check an item I...

Thanks Arman,
As excited as I am to start exploring Ansalon, I'll follow your advice and explore Sparkle first.

Re: Just Saying Hello!
All this being said, I'm currently working my way through the intro quests in Sparkle and I'm wondering, would I regret it if I put those on the backburner and went straight to a newbie zone in another domain... perhaps Ansalon... And if so, what's the recommended newbie zone in Ansalon? I th...

Re: Newbie with a question
Absolutely, PC is definitely my preferred route, but sometimes it's to difficult to escape down to the basement for dedicated play time, so I'll often just pull out the tablet, or even phone, if I have a little downtime to get on and kill some bunnies.

Re: Those New to Genesis
I was looking for a light, browser based game I could play on all my devices, one that I could pick up for 10 minutes, or hours at a time. Google lead me to MUD's so I started researching a bunch of them, I tried one other before this, but it didn't feel right. The Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms, and...

Re: Just Saying Hello!
My experience with MMO's is primarily in Diablo 2, Everquest, and World of Warcraft. Had you asked me 15, 10, or even 5 years ago to try a text based game, I probably would have laughed at you. The funny thing is though text based really makes a lot more sense in some regards. Compare combat in Gene...
