Re: Racial stats rebalance

I must agree slightly with Quantum. It feels as if there were very, very little reason not to pick human. The ones I come up with are absurd or funny (caster dwarf dumping dex over con, caster hobbit dumping str for a boost in dex). There's some points to consider: If the boost/penalty is so minor ...

Re: Fact-checking and critical thinking

why not just have an "options see numbers on/off" or something similar, to level the playing field, clear up misconceptions, and make sure that everyone has access to the same information in a sanctioned way? Let me start by saying this isn't the worst of ideas, and I know -I- would love ...

Re: The case for closure – fighter guilds

aa is, as nils said, the only tacky evil guild. the only way that evils can really compete against forces like the neidar. I mean, everyone falls to monks, but that's how it is now. but aa shouldn't be closed, or reduced. aa provided an essential part of the world, and one that helps with the const...

Re: List of layman ideas (Middle Earth)

Re: White hits and teleportation, 6 months later.

Purists will say you choose your guild solely on how it speaks to you from a character building perspective and whatever identity you wish upon your character and that the power of the special attack plays second violin. This was lauded to the point of hilarity among the roleplay oriented guilds wh...

Re: Hiding titles

I think Arman made a good point about the game being descriptive in nature and that it should be reserved for rogues to hide descriptive things that should be obvious to anyone with sight. But, I voted yes, I want it, because although I agree it should not be available outside of stealth skills or ...
