Re: Recruitment?

Newbie experience: I think Menerial is fine - but maybe should tell about(or even send to, as part of a new quest) only one new questmaster. As a newbie it would have felt far more as a pointer what to do next/ where to continue. The long blurt of speech felt a lot more like a “general information” ...

Re: Email link on homepage

Ohhhh… Okay, I get it now. But you should definitely somehow make it more obvious that those are meant for sharing. Sometimes I just make weird mistakes, but yeah in this case I really think the sharing intention is too far of a stretch to get it in the first place. Maybe just a share button? Which ...

Email link on homepage

Hey Cherek! Not sure if it’s the right spot (didn’t see where homepage related things belong to). Another bug: the Email link on the page in the footer is currently quite useless. If you click it then it opens a new email with no “To” address. I’m on my phone right now, so can’t look if the address ...

Re: Racial Rebalancing News?

Why would anyone pick the Estonian team?:) As cheeky as this might sound, I'm serious: for the challenge. Let's say the Estonian team wins against one of the other teams, they will be celebrated, while if the other team wins, no one will see in it an achievement. While the Estonians don't even have...

Re: Racial Rebalancing News?

If we decided to go down that road, it would mean the stat modifiers also would be normalized to human stats Why would one lead automatically to the other? If there is concern about balance, this should be a matter of how those differences affect the progress in the game. Because I see no reason wh...

Re: Made a theme (v2 now also including intoxication bar)

I've got some feedback that there seems to be trouble with the script in combination with Chrome (as things don't work well - and it seems the whole screen is largely stretched outside of the visible area to the right. If anyone with Chrome has this problem to, or maybe even uses it with Chrome but ...

Re: Playing via terminal/telnet

The server COULD (I’m afraid it doesn’t) send color ANSI codes. Some (many?) mud servers do (even saw it with lpmuds), BUT I think I haven’t seen any lpmud powered Server which would do that by itself - the feature had always to be actively enabled by the player, because the server never did so by i...

Made a theme (v2 now also including intoxication bar)

Hello everybody! I made some theme for the web client and thought I would share. TGMCP trigger: char.vitals Javascript: (function x(v) { if (!$("#lkb")[0]) { $("head").prepend("<style>@import url('https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=PT+Mono&display=swap'</style>&quo...

Re: Playing via terminal/telnet

I was hoping for something which doesn't require any non-standard software (as with the TV example, you often can't install any). Thanks anyway (but if anyone else knows of some "now forgotten" commands - please tell!).
