Re: The new death recovery system in detail

Please don't change things based off of best-case examples. Yes, with a great team the fantas roll in at a crazy rate even at Myth, but not everyone have that option. Genesis is a game of extremes, and making game-mechanical changes based off of the best case scenarios really negatively effect peopl...

Re: Logging into the game after a long time

Gorby is still around. Very active actually in the Discord, as he is tormenting players in the current game-wide event.

You should stop by the Discord and hit up Cherek, and I am sure he can help you out.

Also, welcome back! :-)

Re: Fact-checking and critical thinking

You may call it a rant, but I think it's worded fairly reasonably and contains a good amount of truth, especially concerning transparency.

Re: Hiding titles

Sorry, I didn't realise engaging and providing my position meant I was a brick wall. I'd normally be happy to provide more detail on my thoughts, but based on your antagonistic responses I don't feel any desire or obligation to. A brick wall in terms of being able to break through with anything tha...

Re: Hiding titles

I have always thought hiding titles is to the detriment of the descriptive nature of the game. I don't agree hiding titles adds to "the mystery" of guilds or the game. The original vampyr guild had a title system that was non-optional, as did its layman branch, and I still hold that it ne...

Re: Hiding titles

The same argument can be made to allow for players to make up their own titles. Genesis is a descriptive game... guild titles are a feature of that. And it is a feature I like and strongly support. I am not going to support options allowing the turning off of guild titles except in the case of rogu...

Re: Brainstorming racial abilities

A few classic suggestions for Gnomes would be Darkvision Some level of magical resistance But Gnomes in Genesis has always been associated with the GoG, so having some sort of bonus when it comes to wealth would be fitting. It could be +Trading skill, lower expenses at all GoG banks, or as has also ...

Re: The rise of the Nameless Horror!

Reading the previous posts from Arman and Cherek reminds me, why I stopped posting, not only because of the incredible conservatism that keep insisting not to manage Genesis as an actual game, but most of all the unwillingness to actually READ what is written in good faith, instead of picking at a ...

Re: Libraries - (semi)Unified System

Drazson already mentioned a significant one. Others are lack of access control and one vs more levels of catalogues (I am not a 100% on that last one, I have recheck in game).

A lack of resources, and we have to contact the individual liege, is fair enough.
