Re: Let's talk about healing...
Celemir: You're thinking of SoHM now, WoHS is occupational + layman.

Re: Let's talk about healing...
I also think that layman heal (minstrel, warlock, vampire, EW, OoTS, Heralds) should be nerfed. Wizards have already received several suggestions how to do it, so it's up to them if they want to implement it. Just like basically every player in this thread has their own idea about how to change hea...

Re: Let's talk about healing...
In my optics every layman guild should be a trinket guild at most. Perhaps have a light spell, create food/drink a basic punch, stab or slash or some such. The layman CASTER guilds as they are now are layman guild by slot but occupational guilds by strength. That's how it once was. I don't think it...

Re: Let's talk about healing...
I think the majority of the players and wizards are pretty much in agreement that heal, or at least layman heal, is too good. I am sure there are a few that might disagree, but, those would be few I think. The question is really HOW should we change it and WHO should do it. I think, realistically, w...

Re: Thoughts on damage
While I fully support anything that would favor special attacks, this particular suggestion is isolated to the global modifier governing damage and combat experience. Nothing else. I imagine the actual work required would be limited to adjusting a few values, as opposed to giving every guild in the...

Re: Thoughts on damage
Arman/Serander: Like Nils clarified above, his suggestion wasn't too increase special attack damage only. That would in my opinion be a bad idea. I am a little surprised you'd consider that Arman. I mean, you were after all part of the change to fix the broken system with special attacks being too s...

Re: Balance Considerations
Zestana: Some quick replies below, - I did use a bot test on someone just last week, so they still happen. I’ve sent out a bunch this year and I am not even in the AoP team. I don’t know how much the AoP team uses them, but I am pretty sure Varian told me he caught someone not that long ago. - When ...

Re: Balance Considerations
My complaint with this are abilities with secondary effects or stuns that clearly do not affect breath not working on them. I understand there was a thematic reason for this, but there exists more stuns than just monks. I don't understand how stun immunity of all things is fair when it can just rui...

Re: Balance Considerations
I haven't read everything (yet), but I would just like to point out that as you can see in <help race-undead> the undead stun immunity mainly works against various combat stuns, but generally not movement stuns. So, when we finally get more of those in the game, undeads won't have much of a benefit ...
