I also agree Draugor hit the point.
Why Bonk was such a perfect target? Beacuse it hurt him so much.

Re: 12th Scavenger Hunt Results
Obviously, AoE after very long and careful consideration have decided that having 77 participants in the event is ALOT too many, so they decided to discourage most of them away from the next one.

Re: Making non-magical items always save
Well, sorry to say this, but while it is good you consider how to help newbies I feel it is a move in wrong direction. The problem is, 99% of eq worth saving IS magical. As I see it, donate boxes are full of eq usable for newbies, so saving any crap on them wont change much. Perhaps some more focus ...

Re: Stopping script-buying on the Auction House
Cherek, Gorboth. Do not take me wrong. I do appretiate your job, I do understand coding and implementing things take time. But this discussion kind of ended with Gorboth's declaring: I'm interested in the challenge of creating a captcha that would foil script interpretation. I'll set my mind to it. ...

Re: Stopping script-buying on the Auction House
Well, some interesting ideas were put here, but still items keep beeing bought out in 0,5 secs. Of course since the imbue drop rate was nerfed dramatically, the amount of them appearing on AH is much much smaller, so the problem seems not so hot, but anyway, it sucks. I would suggest - do not wait f...

Re: The Scouring of the Forum
Ehh since I became really active here recently, I'll add my 2cc on this issue as well.. I'd just say - Guys, relax. Moderating forums is pretty standard practice. I believe the administration wants just avoid insults, swears, dropping **** at each other, etc. Being civil won't hurt anyone. Give em a...

Re: Stopping script-buying on the Auction House
Btw. I believe AH botting is against the rules already: Quote from help botting: " Automation designed for UNATTENDED control of the character is unwelcome in Genesis..." So if someone stays logged on UNATTENDED but still controlls his char to bid - it is breaking the rules, even if not sp...

Re: Stopping script-buying on the Auction House
I think maybe we should pool buyout bids over 2-3 minutes and draw a winner after that time. Quoted the idea once more. So simple, so good. Looks like the best from all the ideas proposed, as already stated. Edit: adding captcha is fine ofc, better than trying to prove if anyone is botting or not. ...
