Re: What does/should a layman signify about the character
If everyone's view is "I'll use X Layman because it will complement my character's occupational guild the best" then we are no longer going down the road of character development on a roleplaying sense, we are attempting to get the most bang for our buck out of what is offered in the real...

Re: What does/should a layman signify about the character
Rhaegar: Monks really believe in that pcifistic thing still? To me monks seem to be those who kill just about anything, anywhere, and nothing about being pacifistic. But perhaps you mean pacifistic as in not attacking other players? I dont know if that is true either, pvp is very rare anyway so its ...

Re: What does/should a layman signify about the character
Alexi: I am not sure what Rhaegar said is true. Rhaegar: Doest layman monks need to follow the same rules as occupational ones? Really? Why not? And how do you know? I think that is up to the council of the monks. But maybe you are in it? I dont know all your chars. But I think they should follow th...

Re: Imbuements
Ilrahil: I agree. And it has some of those things, the wednesday market, the quest orbs (allthough I would prefer you being able to take one with you when questing), and now the enhancer. The idea of a somewhat less skilled smith is a good one I think. Maybe its some type of smith apprentice or new ...

Re: What does/should a layman signify about the character
@ Cherek: And you seem to get confused why DO/AA isn't that great RP-wise. It's not the problem with monks being pacifists and AA being renowned for its short temper. The problem lies in the fact that DO was hating on undead, necromancers etc. long before SCoP showed up and, as it is, AA not only h...

Re: What does/should a layman signify about the character
Ilrahil: Guess its a matter of personal preference. I always liked this game better when evils were evils and goodies goodies. Now most people live in some type of grey area. Yes, its more of a co-op game now, and less of a players versus players game. Natural perhaps, but still a bit sad. What got ...

Re: Imbuements
About food. The orcs serve both drinks and food now which is nice. But an alternative to their mold soup with perhaps be a good idea. Sparkle do need a nice inn... and a smith, and a town crier, and a newspaper booth, and a casino, and the pole dancing club... and a bunch of fun things so it truly b...

Re: What does/should a layman signify about the character
I agree with what most have said. I do not think your layman counts for "less" than your occupational guild. If you're an AA layman, you should be prepared to follow AA rules just as any other AA member, and have the same enemies, and be treated as an enemy by those who oppose them. Howeve...

More positive forum
I think the wizards and players in general deserve som praise. Previous forums, and sometimes this as well, has often been plagued with endless mudflinging and personal vendettas. Now, there are some of that still... but... In general I think this forum is a much more friendly and respectful place f...

Re: Newbie-Line Useage ...
On a little side note, donno what you feel, but for us that logs on and not move that much around, its actually nice to see some chatter on the nline, It makes the game feel alive, in a sort of ways, I mean usually my screen moves when my tick goes off, kinda borring, but if you see people talking ...
