I fear that the reward is for PvP killing and NOT PvP fighting.
The most efficient way to kill in PvP (not only in genesis) is ganking.
Ganking is where all the problems with PvP come from.

Maybe I am too pesimistic but it seems like ganker paradise.

It seems to me, that proposed changes: less penalty for PvP death reward for PvP kill more PvP movement control skills lead to ganking as desired gameplay? Yeah! Adding bonus exp for killing rarely killed NPCs sounds like it is what we need. Might be hard to tweak those fixed numbers. Bonus calculation should be based on percentage of total kills rather then fixed numbers. Ie.: trolls have say 30% of share in all kills and NPCs in Khalakhor 0-1%. So th...

I like Zigil's idea.

In current implementation the excitement of the gambling is not there.
You know, whether you are going to get an imbued item before the combat.
Ruins the whole surprise aspect. :(

I like it :)
I do not think it would increase player size - maybe just those, that prefer forging / herbing to combat.
It would allow players to earn experience in other means then combat, which is good.
