Re: SS entrance quest
It is generally well coded, and i managed to do almost everything myself without any single hint from outside. Just questmaster is little confusing and seems like there is some hint missing. Eventually, questmaster asks you to bring his friend locket. You got it, get back to questmaster, but finally...

Re: SS entrance quest
I'm not asking for solution, i'm asking for hint. Something like - try to find second part of locket, or repair it.... Eventually i got the locket, but something wrong with it, that's my feeling now, but what? Should i look for something else, or just polish/repair what i get?

SS entrance quest
Anyone can help me with it? I found the portal, the broken locket, the disk and potions. And flying with gnomish glider was exciting. But questmaster is not accepting the locket. What i'm doing wrong?

Re: Bonk deleted
And again, removing death recovery will fix it. First, some brute levels Big, badass myth++ - extremely violent Big myth - very violent Myth - violent Legend - somewhat violent/violent 1. No statcap/stat decrease -> old big guys are happy 2. You can continue grind at same speed -> all are happy 3. R...

Re: Bonk deleted
Idea is not a death plateau itself. Idea is to remove death recovery and replace it with death plateau. It will effectively work as stat cap in longer perspective, limiting size somewhere around myth, due to impossibility to stay on extr violent all the time.

Re: Bonk deleted
Death plateau should be on each mortal level. Let take a look at brute levels. If you managed to do like 80-90% of quests (you have like 30 left), then you will become Legend on somewhat violent. It is completely doable and is, let say, what every player can achieve. And after you did that - boom, y...

Re: Bonk deleted
Aye, but imagine if people are throwing such a damn cryfest over getting killed with recovery? How crazy do you think they would go if they couldnt recover in a week or two? If they had a gut to play this game for 20 years, they will continue. But it should be "natural" process. One "...

Re: Bonk deleted
The problem is however when we have a couple of people that are unbeatable and are just... well killing everyone, the game would be out of people in a month :P I don't think so. I remember old days, when "violent" was "end of the game". And "critical hits" from NPCs wa...

Re: Bonk deleted
Three worlds to all: remove death recovery. It will limit stats naturally (char with extr violent will not be able to recover to same level withing reasonable amount of time). So, natural "death rate" will effectively "stat cap" everyone somewhere around violent, what means legen...
