Quest Docs
I created this thread to discuss if some form of official Quest Doc might help increase the number of new players we have. The following quotes came from another thread. Detailed walkthroughs that you can write a script from are not necessary at all and could still be illegal. A quest doc written in...

Re: Time based recovery
So then the answer is: We already have quest docs - the hints provided by the quest orbs 8-) Hardly...the orbs are no more then a list and the hints just tell you where the quests start. Important but hardly sufficient. People frustrated by obscure syntax and logic or from excessive examining and s...

Re: Time based recovery
Detailed walkthroughs that you can write a script from are not necessary at all and could still be illegal. A quest doc written in a narrative style that includes the general information needed to solve the quest but would still require someone to explore the area in some detail is all that is neede...

Re: (Ab)usable features.
I have no problem with this thread. In fact - it is probably a good way to get things fixed! :-) G. p.s. I also appreciate Booger's sensibilities about not posting here things that would really mess things up if everyone knew about them. Such things as that are, indeed, probably best sent by mail. ...

Re: Bring the stat cap
Has anyone ever played another mud without a cap that was successful? I am assuming no, because in the past 10 years every time this debate has come up I have never heard anyone give an example of a game with (essentially) unregulated PvP and a significant death penalty that didn't have a cap and ev...

Re: Bring the stat cap
Actually end game content IS supposed to available to everyone POSSIBLE to reach - yes (easily) available - no I have yet to see a multiplayer game where a casual gamer can reach as much as a hard-core gamer within the same time-frame Yes - I agree 100% with this. I think where we might see things ...

Re: Bring the stat cap
I respect your oppinions on this matter.. But then why just not say Myths cant Pfight..? it would keep the fighting base around legend sizes, and those who dosnt want to fight can just grow to myths and retire with rp and grinding and playing their game at own will.. Myths cant get attacked by play...

Re: Bring the stat cap
those who don't have big chars are complaining about those who have? again ... I have never complained about any character...ever. I simply don't believe unlimited growth is viable end game content that is sustainable indefinitely. what is your issue actually? that you can't kill them, or that they...

Re: Bring the stat cap
How about a stat cap people could choose? It could work like this: -Set the cap at the size of the largest character that exists now. -Prior to reaching the cap nothing changes and the game is exactly the same as it is now. -When players reach the cap they choose to be capped or uncapped. -Uncapped ...
