Darkvision problems

Not too long ago, I noticed that I had darkvision but shouldn't have - no imbues or other special items being worn, no relevant spells active. (I submitted a bug report when I noticed it.) Also pretty recently, another player told me for a long time she thought she had permanent darkvision due to he...

This is a game.
There are 1000s of nonsenses in it.
Why do we care so much about this one?
Probably for the same reason you care enough about my apparently inconsequential post to respond to it.

The Nonsense of Genesis Alignment

I can understand why killing a good-aligned creature would make one less "good," more "evil." I cannot understand why killing an evil-aligned creature would necessarily make one more "good." If it's a knight killing a soldier of the BDA, ok, I get it. The knight is on a...

Re: plexus

I very much agree with Alisa. Zhar's idea about dragon scales/skin has long been popular among monks, and Ckrik knows this.

Re: Assisting

The issue is this, things like you suggest only encourage more robotic behaviour. This is something I don't believe the admin wants and honestly in this I would fully agree with them too. I don't have an opinion on automating assist. I enjoy messing with triggers sometimes, but I can understand why...

whats wrong with monks plexxing undeads?
How would you knock the air out of an undead?
Welp, skeletons bleed when you hit them with a sword in this game, so it seems sort of unfair to go "realistic" only on monks here.

Re: Icewall

Some of those quests can be done at GA, but Icewall in general is very dangerous. I would recommend going only with someone more experienced. Ironlike strength is required to access certain parts of Icewall, but just because you can access them doesn't mean it is safe or a good idea for you to do so.

Re: Thornlin Militia

Roleplay/guild flavour We're supposed to be a Militia, town protectors. Most of my Militia companions that I've met in the past were SoHM. It is because TM does suit them well - they use a wand or a staff (which counts as polearm) and it provides some added defense should they need it. However, SoH...

Re: Autosneak

I like Tarlok's idea about stealth causing additional fatigue - iff (if and only if) rogue classes had that mitigated at least somewhat by training, guild stat, or similar.

Re: Autosneak

1. You have one central point for balancing autosneak code instead of it being copy-pasted all over the place across different domains and then when it's updated in one guild the change isn't spread to the others (in case a bug was found). Having it in one place would ensure that it's working the s...
