It would only happen if you dont have triggers on the new character, and dont edit the triggers, otherwise the new char will get its own copy.

Groups are on the todo list. The scenario you present is a bit different though, triggers are stored per character, so tey would be separate, although i now realise that with the reconnect option, they arent cleared between logins.

As long as you login with the same account, your triggers and aliases should transfer with you. So if you create an alias at work, and later login using the same char at home, that alias should be available to you. That being said, we are looking into possibilities of exporting triggers and aliases ...

Initially this was by design, but yes, its inconvenient ;) I will change it to needing either a space after the alias (to support arguments) or the carriage return.

That's pretty neat for the smiths in Genesis, but I cant help wonder why it isn't just coded in the actual game, instead of a Wizard coding it only for a client? You can use triggers and the javascript API for that. I'll see if we can get a section on the forums with scripts.
