Re: Fact-checking and critical thinking
Very good idea. The issue with Gardeners titles we had some time ago is good proof it would be very useful. But wizards would need to post there if they update something....

Re: Fact-checking and critical thinking
I have read all the discussion above and I would like to add my 2 cc. The main reason why rumors and fake news appears in common knowledge is the lack of knowledge from trusted sources. For many, many years there was almost no official information from wizards/Archs/Keeper regarding how Genesis and ...

Re: Musing changes to guild recruitment restrictions
If I can add my 2 cc. I like the idea. But there are a lot of but... 1. All guilds that would be changed in that way should be recoded a bit. Access to the some guilds locations (like drop rooms, libraries, maybe some shops, etc) should be granted only after promotion of new guild member by any guil...

Re: Perma-saving items
(...) But the only ones I can think of are darkvision, heal, awareness, and sneak/hide.(...) I dont think anyone who is using darkvision remove it during fight. It is used mainly during fights to have boost in fights. Sneak/hide if it is not used to have boost against players, it is used in fights ...

Re: Perma-saving items
The change makes some imbued items to degrade but others stay forever (or till the next purge, whenver it may be). Who said anything about casters? You say that its wrong for some items to be undulling or unbreakable but it is fine for some imbues to last forver? Syrk, But I think the main issue is...

Re: Perma-saving items
I would like to propose to come back to the proposal Arman wrote here and give my opinion about no-dulling weapons. First of all in my opinion the change with ever saving items was very good and bring much more good than bad. But it needs some tuning. And these tuning are no dull weapons. There are ...

Re: The Guild Census
Good question Zhar. But one is not clear for me? Does this 100% in Offence means this is the best most offensive guild in my opinion? Any way here are my oppinions: My thoughts: SoHM offence: 50-70* defence: 40-70* support: 30 utility: 20 AA offence: 60 defence: 90 support: 35 utility: 0 Second best...

Re: Weaponmasters, again.
(...) What's lacking is a generic DPS melee layman that doesn't depend on a particular weapon type. (...) There is such a guild - Minotaurs. Pure dps, and doesn't depend on weapon. In fact it is Zhar's layman version of Gladiators. I don't think lay Glads would have bigger dps. Another melee lay ar...

Re: New System for Items that Save
(...) Then an article appeared on the horizon, admin rushed suddenly with the simplest possible change, with side-effects impacting game balance seriously, side-effects you simply can't solve for a looong time already. You could have transformed those few OP no-dull weapons into slow-dull (quick, s...
