Re: Would-be Grief-Thieves - beware
You're going a bit ad personam which affects your argumentation - not impressed! ; ) Do you mean ad hominem, with respect to the comment about little kids with complexes? If you really mean ad personam, can you explain? I don't have a huge stake in the future of thieves but want to follow the argum...

Re: Karkadelt's Duel Amulets
Firedome is the arena for the sport Fireball. It's located in Gelan. You can't fight there, you play a football-like sport in teams of four. Do people actually play this? I took a look at the signage and oof! Steep learning curve. It seems sort of like arcade fussball except you can choose differen...

Re: Karkadelt's Duel Amulets
Yes. Why complicate things unnecessarily with an amulet? Just open the size-restricted quests. The drawback to doing them late would be you look and feel silly. No harm to anyone.Toferth wrote:Isn't it easier to just unlock that quests for all?
So what if it's walk in the park..

Land of Acronyms
I understand and fully support the abbreviation of commonly referred-to items, locations, and guilds. I also often find myself scratching my head at some of them. Would people be willing to start a glossary so that people reading these forums (or, heck, even following conversation in-game, which oft...

Re: Request from the Church of Sparkle pastor
I would probably plaster the most obvious newbiequests on a bulletin board (examinable) at the inn, and maybe some drawn (roughly) maps of Sparkle's nearby geography and obvious "next to go" locaions for newbies, such as Calia for example. Yeah and if the grub quest and beggars' club ques...

Re: Request from the Church of Sparkle pastor
I too like Kas's idea. The instanced room could have a sign preparing the newbie for what sorts of things she might find just downstairs, in terms of interactablilty (a bar to belly up to, can't go back upstairs without renting a room, or whatever) and the kinds of chatting that are likely going on....

That would be phenomenotastic!Ckrik wrote:Earthsea backpacks and most other containers have table view. I'll look into adding labeling to all of our containers. Seems like that's an often requested feature.

Yeah I keep discovering new ones that I forgot. Big pain to convert everything but ZZ's suggestion helps in actual game life.Syrk wrote:Unfortunately after armageddon my packs changed names too.
It is very inconvenient as now many of my aliases stopped working.

Re: Request from the Church of Sparkle pastor
Why not give people the option of waking in the pub? If meditative silence isn't their thing, if they prefer the cacophony and drama and OOC-laced banter that used to fill the church, why not move that whole scene over to the pub, where it thematically much more appropriate? They could easily pop ov...
