Re: Autosneak

I think you shouldn't be worried though. Even if autosneak code will be moved to the core abilities available to everyone I'm 99% sure you won't be able to use it with just AG levels, similarly to how you cannot adapt some thief skills as merc to very high levels unless you already have them provid...

Re: Master of all trades, but jack of none?

No way a WOHS hell-bent on defence is as effective as a Neidar or a monk. So we're not talking about swinging from 100 D to 100 O, not even close. And regardless of whether they emphasize offense or defense, there is quite the price to pay for abilities in WOHS, apart from tax. On the subject of fle...

Re: Help for player returning after a long time

For monks, it's your belt. If you don't have one you can get it from the guildhall.

How do we feel about death?

The idea here is to get some idea about 1. whether the community wants the consequences of death to change, and 2. if we do, whether we'd prefer that change to be in the direction of lighter or heavier consequences.

Re: Is death or EQ-loss worse?

1. So you're not interested in whether players do think death via PVP is too harsh? Rather, because you've already decided that it is, you just want to know which aspect players would prefer to have less harsh? 2. If I've got it wrong, and you have not already decided PVP death is too harsh, I don't...

Re: Is death or EQ-loss worse?

Has there been some sort of uproar about this? I'm not "upset" about either. Death ought to have consequences, and how Genesis handles it is reasonable, especially given that it's often possible to locate the corpse and get the EQ anyway. No uproar, just me being curious what people feel ...

Re: Adjustment to spell effects postponed

I have read this thread several times now but somehow I still dont understand. Can you simplify this and explain it as you would to a 3 year old....is this a buff or a nerf to casters in general? Ultimately it should be a buff to spell damage, based on the core issue. I'd be amazed if it didn't com...

Re: Brainstorming alternatives to guild power transfer

For a lot of guilds, I think regular elections make sense. If people want to campaign, that seems to fall under what Thalric has in mind. You could argue how full the racks are due to your contributions, how many new applicants there have been due to your recruitment, how you helped form an alliance...
