Re: Newbie Command Name Change?

I think every person in the world understands it's short for newbie-ignore and absolutely nothing else? Every person born before 1997, possibly. Makes me want to go live in the mountains. Then why did you bring it up if you don't even fuck, forget it jesus christ the millennials are everywhere

Is it very difficult to change a command name? I think changing <nignore> to <nmute> would be a good idea in the near future. I do not find the syntax particularly offensive as is but a friend of mine pointed out how little it takes to be read as a slur.

Re: The rise of the Nameless Horror!

I would also add into what Rache earlier said regarding why it would, or could succeed: Initial recruitment / success of membership depends often on recruitment policies, restrictions etc. To ensure higher playerbase/membership, one could explore to keep the first parts of a guild free to join (sti...

Re: The rise of the Nameless Horror!

It takes _decades_ to max out in some guilds? Which guilds are those? Let me know and I'll move them to the top of the "to be closed"-list :) No, I don't have such a list. So don't worry. But I really do not think it should take decades to max out anything in Genesis. Not even years. Guil...

Re: The rise of the Nameless Horror!

Regarding FK: The intended design was for it to be an option, but a hard one - you couldn't just join and get all the juices immediately like AA or DA, but would rather equire effort. At release, many applied, and many failed, but some was given their chance, and some failed during apprenticeship, ...

I get the idea but, an immediate concern is: Do we really need more newbies with pick pocket skill, running around stealing from other newbies?
Lights out, game over. Cherek said what we're all thinking. Go home folks, nothing to see here.

Re: The rise of the Nameless Horror!

When we create a new occupational guild, it is often the same story. We've seen it quite recently. A new, strong guild emerges and utterly failed. I don't know why, but what could be a new, cool guild is largely considered a flop by most all available metrics. Why would Khiraa be any different? Bec...

Re: The rise of the Nameless Horror!

I think this would be really good for the game! Synergies are fantastic and necroing this guild would be a brilliant idea.

Re: Racial Rebalancing News?

I like the idea of setting attributes in character creation, such as alignment. Although this would drive us closer to class-based, an "all human stats" system with variants toward warrior, mage, and thief would be interesting. I agree, and it would be significantly better than things are...

Re: Smiths Guild

She says that if you don't have that risk... it might be too powerful. I know what she said. I'm suggesting that it's a) inconvenient at best to use the armour repair ability b) taxed c) unreliable and worsens condition of weapons and armours regularly. We, ahem, don't all have Bubba in our backyar...
