I think it sounds like an amazing idea.
It might even mean that Genesis gets a wider variety of used races, as people can choose to play anything, without it really impacting the strength of their character in any major way.

ho ruled the combat department when strength was not factored in for melee damage and dexterity was used in its place. Edit: Now that I think about it, maybe we could change the combat formulas again? We could maybe make it so that your best stat is used for damage (str or dex) and perhaps your hp ...

I dont think a helper should be assigned a soecific helper. I would more like such a club to just add another level to the ntell helpers. Showing that you're awake and interested in spending your time with a newbie, assisting with whatever. Introduce some RP, i would see as a sort of requirement. Bu...

I think a combined race/ layman orc guild sounds like an amazing idea. I think the racial offers sword, so perhaps building further on that. In any case, I too find the application process to be fun and engaging, the problems arise when you can't really do it due to absent, inactive and/or uncaring leadership in the guilds. Personally I see no reason why joining a guild and advancing through some lower ranks couldn't be handled by NPCs....

I agree that money is an issue for a new player, but I don't think giving people a huge lump of money when they exit the tutorial is a good idea. (50-100 plat would be way enough, to start them off well) I would rather suggest that shops pay double for loot to people until they've completed 10% ques...

This would have to change the dynamic of how idle works, though. Idle would for example be standing in the same room without moving. I don't know of many meetings that last for more than 2 hours, and if there is a max time there should also be a warning. At which time talking people would get up and...

The members are excellent at idling.

Which those stats don't take into account.
So guilds where characters are only awake when being actively played are of course seen as much less active than those where members are logged in 24/7.
