Congrats Cherek!

There is a flash of pure magic, and suddenly you realize that Cherek has been
accepted into the ranks of the wizards.

Re: Closing Guilds (moved from Keeper's Korner)

I have signatures turned off, so I wouldn't know. But I've been in all those guilds too, and the first two guilds only require alot of "work" if you don't have contacts, if you know people you get a fast track to Nazgul-hood. Anyways Laurel already touched on the point of question. Why sh...

Re: Closing Guilds (moved from Keeper's Korner)

why should that be different in fighter guilds, as opposed to magic guilds? are you some kind of "better", "more important", or what? MMs should be allowed months of apprenticehood, while the opposite side ... not? makes no sense in regards to RP/theme moreover - reading Tolkien...

Re: Closing Guilds (moved from Keeper's Korner)

I think the bigger issue is the fact that it takes a month+ to join a fighter guild, not just the evil-good swapping. If a newbie walked up to the Knights or Rangers or Calians today and wanted to join, shouldn't they be able to at least join their Squire/Pupil/Follower squad right away? Give them ...

Re: Closing Guilds (moved from Keeper's Korner)

You hunt and kill people from one guild, you should count on not being able to join them on a moments notice just cause you feel like it. Should people be able to switch from evil to good, of course. But you should have to work on it. I think the bigger issue is the fact that it takes a month+ to j...

Re: Closing Guilds (moved from Keeper's Korner)

I'd say some wizards SHOULD be able to interfere if the dynamics in a guild fails. If a single player ruins the gameplay of many, well...there should be a proper response. Maybe I'm biased, but anyone letting an applicant to wait for more than 3+ days fails. ;) Maybe I am over caffeinated and reall...

Re: Closing Guilds (moved from Keeper's Korner)

Words of wisdom from the Wolverine. The problem is.. Old players hold on to grudges for longer then they hold on to characters. So if X did something to Y 10 years ago.. Then Y still hates player X's second 10 years later because of something that doesnt even matter anymore. Just stupid if you ask ...

Re: Closing Guilds (moved from Keeper's Korner)

put in NPCs as councilmembers, so people can grind up to the ranks just below council positions? disable the restrictions on gaining rank, if every rank has to be approved by the council? or can't we simply have the guilds running in their current form and have members mail the AoP when they need a...

No doubt Cherek -- just want to make sure this isn't overlooked.
