Here is one out of my ass. Remove all items for darkness and light. Make global darkness and daylight. Day and night time. So the evil doers can stalk the night and the holy ones can prowl the day. There are atleast 2 ways to protect newbie areas, or areas designated for players within certain sizeranges: 1. Ensure that monsters dont give xp to players with avg size over x. I slightly miss the point with the vamps though - they just happen to be locked to humans due to thematic reasons, but all other races "gets the same buff" aswell, regardless of guild affiliations?
