Re: Fruits
For those who need it, there is orchard somewhere in Faerun. It was good enough for me.

Fruits
Anyone knows where to get fruits for perfumes quest? Ive checked garden in ziggurat, but trees there are too young (does time of year changes between arma or something?) I tested also several herbalists and some other stores (grocery) but it's not there. Same with garden in bazaar. Am I supposed to ...

Re: GWC and GMCP Wishlist
I'd like to see field in gmcp.comm.channel that specifies whether message comes from player or npc so I can easily filter out npc spam while fighting them and not miss important messages from friends
Unless it was already added an I never noticed that.

Re: Opensourcing engine, volunteer based coding
What I was looking for is "casual relationship" not full blown marriage :) That means - I see bug or something missing that really annoys me/others (and can be done outside of "restricted/domain code") I stop playing for few days, fix it, send for integration to some wizard, and ...

Re: Opensourcing engine, volunteer based coding
@petros I know that, but I don't want to make genesis2 ;) I'm just annoyed (sometimes) by bugs or lacking things. Actually I have at least one idea that could be implemented in driver or very low in mudlib, question is - will you ever accept code from non-wiz (to review it and obviously, integrate/r...

Re: Opensourcing engine, volunteer based coding
Argh, I mistaken you for wiz, noob me;
Anyway - did you looked at that mudlib I linked?
I'm pretty sure at least parts of it are not heavily diverged from current state (or they were not at the time of release).

Re: Opensourcing engine, volunteer based coding
Hm, it's not known already (at least for the older players, not noobies like me)?
Obviously I assume sample mudlib diverged a bit from what you have now (after all it's like 7 years old).
In that case I have to rethink my statements. Meh :/

Re: Opensourcing engine, volunteer based coding
That's why idea #1 is driver/mudlib + noob zone (i.e. Genesis engine but no domain code). Older version of this sources are somewhere in the web anyway, I guess everyone knows how to map stats or how combat (was) calculated. Example: I don't see any "revealing secrets" issue with person im...
