Re: Sometimes, in Kabal..
You using a client Nils that isn't the Genesis client? It looks like it is returning magic map code in your room description.

Re: Goblins...goblins everywhere!
I am waiting with bated breath for a couple more "balanced" magic using guilds... ;) I will agree with you insofar as this thread is hijacked, and to comment on the intended subject I think it would be a great thing indeed if other races saw more use. Whether or not another guild possibly...

Re: Goblins...goblins everywhere!
Hopefully all new magic guilds are balanced and scrutinized heavily. There's been problems with that in the past. The problem with coding magic guilds in the past is they were notoriously hard to make, so everyone made them differently, which made them even more notoriously hard to balance - for ju...

Re: Goblins...goblins everywhere!
I have read about Chemosh a bit in the forums. What's up with the High magic one? Is there a post about it? I have deliberately not posted anything about the School of High Magic, beyond seeking beta testers for it. It is a project I've been working on since late 2015 - a unique occupational magic ...

Re: Goblins...goblins everywhere!
I think the diversity of races is also impacted pretty heavily by the guild offerings for players. The vast majority cater to fighter guilds relying on physical stats, and the lack of access to magic guild options... particularly occupational. Goblins are particularly bad with magic. So when this g...

Re: Goblins...goblins everywhere!
i've typed 'who' f a moment ago: 12 out of 24 players i have remembered (myself included) are either goblin or goblin sub-race (minotaur, orc). That's nothing unusual - and everyone is probably aware of the issue that around 50% of 'bigger players' (I've noticed that lot's of newcommers are elves :...
