Re: Time based recovery
Spending ages trying to figure out what noun to look at or verb to use can really be extremely frustrating. Hence the commands "typo", "bug" and "idea". If a quest sucks, make sure the immortals get told THAT it sucks, WHAT sucks about it, and preferably HOW to make it...

Re: Loans
I can think of only two things a newbie needs money for - food and training. Alts know where to find free food, true newbie's don't, but hopefully they are able to pick up donations and along the way. Having a guide that advises newbies about how to prioritize skills will help with the training aspe...

Re: Time based recovery
Maybe it's just me... It isn't. Especially in a world where pretty much every game has a walk-through online somewhere (official or not). I am certain that is a major deterrent to "newbies" wanting to play as well. Spending ages trying to figure out what noun to look at or verb to use can...

Re: Surnames
Making the Krynnish racial into a club is actually kind of a cool idea - you could even expand the theme beyond Krynn and say its some kind of scholarly geneological association (or something less boring).

Re: Time based recovery
we are not talking about making it easier for myths, I am all for making it harder for them. We are talking about making it easier for people that do not like grinding to recover. You dont become a myth without spending many hours grinding. I can't imagine doing that if you don't enjoy it, and so I...

Re: Time based recovery
Not to seem cold-hearted, but I'm really not that concerned about the game being hard to play for myths . Lots of us manage to survive, have a good time, and yes, even have an occasional pfight without being a Legend, Myth, or heck, even a Champion. A month is too easy, two is more reasonable. Relat...

I mean really, why should having high mentals determine your ability to get past a huge troll in a narrow cave.

Re: Reducing Layman/Racial Guild Redundancy
Would love to see something like Fourtcoer suggests. It would definately increase the possibilities in the game. The alternative would be to lower the training offered across the board as reason to lower the tax, or perhaps set it so if someone can train more if they are without an occupation. Anahi...
