Re: Statcap
It isn't "work" to grind endlessly, as mentioned above, hell you can script to make the game play itself, while you sleep or watch a movie, or do actual work. No, that is against the rules. And even if Gorboth doesn't kill you, you will be killed by your competition. Even in the newbie ar...

Re: More frequent armas?
Sorry, no. I would like to say that effectively or virtually you are right, but not even that. Lets call it effective milk spill, would be more accurate. Excellent point. Spills and leaks are in no way effectively the same when you're just worried about cleaning up the milk. You have once again pro...

Re: More frequent armas?
But actually it is because the application (Genesis server), with help of wizards and players, can create infinite number of objects that use memory. Right. This is effectively a large-scale memory leak. This is possible, providing that you can control number of objects created by the game. So when...

Re: A separate brute for guild exp
The way it seems to be is... kill monster -> calculate XP, reduce for brute -> add to xp, add to guild xp A simple fix... kill monster -> calculate XP, add to guild XP -> reduce for brute, add to XP Same would go for herbing or any general XP I imagine. But this solution might actually be easy to im...

Re: Statcap
Oh my...you have ruined my life. I thought I am happy but alas...not anymore. But what if I am happy? Can I? Please? I also watch a number of kids go up. Should I be depressed now? Trying to say: you have to consider, that: a) you might be wrong, b) some people may like other things and t...

Re: More frequent armas?
The problem is Armageddon is an improvised design to deal with what is effectively a large-scale memory leak. Ideally, Armageddon would never be necessary. But to move in that direction, we need to make things independent of Armageddon, from quests to item drops to resetting rooms. Good luck finding...

Re: Statcap
1. It is a generalization. Some people earned their experience through 24-hour a day grind but many more have earned it through years of play. There is no rule that says we have to take away what people have already earned. 2. To have a statcap, there has to be an "end game" first. Surely...
