Re: Bring back rule against idling

I'm not sure if I am stating the obvious, but we already have a way of seeing if someone is idle (at least those you remember).

Using the <last> command when a person is logged in gives you that information.

Re: New Uptime And Armour Endurrance.

Oiz ! Its the Loonie cow again. With the new uptime, couldnt the HP on armours be upped aswell, So they last a wee bit longer..? or ? Hmm...I disagree here. Especially with the saving racks, if things break, it gives more chance for the eq to be used by different people. If anything maybe it should...

I started work on this, but due to RL stuff, I haven't worked on it in a few months. Perhaps I'll get back to it sometime soon...

Re: Two types of Characters.

Re: Newbie tokens

1. Saving time: newbies can't carry a lot and repeated trips between killing grounds and shop can wear down their characters and take time they could be spending on getting more kills (like the bunnies in newbie area, which drop loot that weights next to nothing). Actually this reminds me of a item...

Re: CMUD/ZMUD Script Samples

That's why I set my script to hilite (with my settings it reverses the colors so it gives me black text on white background to contrast with everything else) the entire line that has "tells you" in it. This way I not only see wiz tells clearly but also postmaster messages (as he "tel...

Re: CMUD/ZMUD Script Samples

You have "ponders" twice in your verbs list. But that's not what I wanted to talk about, rather about some general stuff (since the thread title says script samples). Some questions out of pure curiosity: 1. What do you hook your disembark trigger too? (not sure if your script gags "...

Re: CMUD/ZMUD Script Samples

Greneth, something is breaking the line of text so you are having problems. I'm not sure what that is, but if you can stop the line break, you will have success getting more than one line of text. Also, when depositing coins, I have added things like: You have placed the following money in our trust...

I should ask, what version of CMUD are you using?
