Re: Where to grind on which level?

There is a walkthrough on how to enter Xak Tsaroth if you read the Dragonlance Chronicles :)

Highly recommended!

Re: Where to grind on which level?

Arman: Yeah I too think the dracs should be more rewarding considering all their little tricks. I am not expert on that though, so when it comes XP balance you really should talk to Petros. But he is active so I am sure he'll listen! I am all for it if you wanna have a look at tweaking some Krynn/A...

Re: Where to grind on which level?

Zestana: Yeah I figured they probably suck, but when I said areas with potential I meant that we have a bunch of NPCs nobody kills because they arent rewarding enough, so with some tweaks perhaps they could be again. Both Flotsam/Balifor and Khalakhor are large and generally well coded areas that a...

Re: guru quests - differences

I'm sure something can be made harder. Maybe (just maybe) making the drop rate of the required item change from 100% (years ago) to lower and then lower again was done without taking it's need (on the dude, so not from a third party) for the quest into consideration? Maybe ... or maybe you are evil...

Re: Roleplay and the new "who" command

Another option is people below legend can self-nominate to be known across the land... although rather than it being automatically known by all people would need to go and research the lore of an individual at the Sparkle library?

Re: Roleplay and the new "who" command

I actually think the new who system doesn't go far enough. Logically, as a player progresses in fame/infamy, their titles should become more obvious. An unknown legend? That makes no sense. Anyway, for the new or returning player the detailed who list adds to the interest new players are likely to h...

Re: Elven Archers

OK, let's get some things straight here... First of all, Mercs could always adapt missiles but could never use mattack with them. Since I'm working on recoding the archers I'd like to keep it this way so that mercs wouldn't compete with archers (imagine the choice of worse overall combat skills and...

Re: Elven Archers

We have several layman guilds that offers evasive abilities and several stealthy ones. Why would we have another one? Why would anyone choose the Archer version if you can not use a bow anyhow? Rangers have very few valid options for layman guilds but an elven Archer guild would solve some of the p...
