Re: Runeshield

I expected this thread to be created by Goul, he used to be invincible with it :D When Logg, Tor and I slaughtered his team in Abanasinia (forced a soldier run away, killed another and a priest), we couldn't get him down. He ran away after a couple of minutes of battle at very hurt or so.

Re: No wonder people leave.

A single cloud don't look like an abuse to me. Did you see more clouds the mage(s) had "spitted" out in the nearby area? A single cloud in the middle of the camp is enough for me to go away. Checking all the rooms would mean reentering the same clouded room time and again. It is not different to, f...

> Hidden forest trail. There are four obvious exits: north, southeast, south and southwest. A burnt left arm of a troll. A lurking frightening forest troll, a massive dangerous forest troll, a drooling repulsive forest troll and a big snarling forest troll. Dalben arrives from the north. > Center o...

Re: No wonder people leave.

I think Etanukar, Celephias or whatever mage was there doesn't need you to talk in their name, dude. Mages have abused from statcloud since they returned. Halb (the one that used to grind with Saya in Icewall) would throw a statcloud in every room, including the rooms without minotaurs to catch ever...

Re: No wonder people leave.

I noticed some mages were again abusing the statcloud, but it wasn't Etanukar, since at least he leaves his horse at the entrance of the troll camp so that you know you must not enter.

Re: Newbie Helpers are the BEST!

Well, discussion turned to a point I like. The main problem with quests is that they are too important for new players. I once picked a greenhorne and helped him, in a few hours, to become wanderer (which is a nice size for a new player, since he can actually fight and kill some stuff like some kret...

Re: Equipment idea

The problem with the auction house is that you can't actually measure how good a forged armour or weapon is. Who assures me a platemail has been forged by, say, Earth? Maybe he just found one lying in the floor and put it on sale. I could scam so many people with items that look equal to special wea...

Re: Progress in the last 3 years

Knew it wasn't a riddle, but since you didn't mention it, it became one per se. Didn't think it would be that hard to code just because of the amount of rooms. I thought it was the thief's one because it sails to every domain...
