Re: imbuement looting.

Just thought of something that might not solve the problem, but still has a chance of helping: Owners-rack, Valuables-rack and Misc-rack! Some people fills the racks with items for others to use. Others use them to store their items between sessions. I've always felt that DO has tons more items than...

Re: imbuement looting.

Kudos to Petros for reading and trying to explain things. And for repeatedly explaining the same thing again and again without exploding. I'll try to explain again, in a simpler way, what I believe Petros has been saying: If you have problems with people looting your common fridge in your department...

Re: Inquire (about name)

...that emote will be based more on whether *you* (the actor) remembers the other person, rather than the other way around... If I understood you correct, I think you misunderstood me. I'm just asking for an emote that I can use to to show you that I don't have you in my memory, and would wish for ...

Inquire (about name)

I'd like a new emote, "inquire <living>". Used as a polite request to someone to introduce himself. Example: "inquire gnome" I see: "You politely inquire the quiet timeworn male gnome about his name". Others see: "<Enigma|The determined inquisitive male gnome> poli...

Re: imbuement looting.

Wonderful to hear, Petros (that you have a base code for it).
So you are right, Makfly. The guildmaster still doesn't want it.
I guess that means you're out of luck, Alorrana. Unless you can change the mind of your GM.

Re: imbuement looting.

Having the same rack is not a question of diversity, imo. It's a question of efficiency. Have one rack that everyone inherits, with a possibility to set up the unique features you want (descriptions, limitations, log-option etc). Then when someone takes the time to fix a good listing, everyone can b...

Re: Unforgivables

Another thought (smaller one): Eye for an eye! In many of these cases you get in bad standing for attacking/killing someone. So how about getting pardoned if they kill you? Get killed by a ranger and you're no longer ranger enemy. Get killed by that quest master you killed and he will no longer be m...

Re: imbuement looting.

See, Makfly? You only have to be online 24/7, check the racks a few times per hour and note down differences, check wholist now and then to see who's online at which hours, and go find them now and then to make surprise checks on what eq they wear. And getting to know each one in person, figuring ou...

Re: Imbuements II

I've been told that "useless" combinations are checked for, so eg there shouldn't exist a shield with bonus in 2H combat. But whether that slay thingie is actually checked towards the initial wielder, I don't know. Sounds like something that very possibly could be missed. Never found a pie...
