Re: Hardcore Characters
Absolutely not. I dont think the game is designed for hardcore players, and I dont see why we should focus on making a so fundamentally large change to a game that has far more important things that need to be fixed. I dont see the need either. Why would we wanna change this? If a large portion of t...

Re: Newbie pin
Its at the welcome poster at the common boards. I didnt find it myself, its not really that logical if you ask me... kinda hard to figure out on your own since the sign is aimed at new players and it doesnt even contain any information about what newbie helper is. Just says get your pin here if you ...

Re: Newbie Tips
Cadu isnt really that good. Many of the quests require you to kill big things that you need to be around great adventurer and above to do, and everything in the castle is pretty hard even for a great adventurer. No, we dont have any place for novice-apprentice players. Sadly. It amazes me in all the...

Re: Quest Praise
I have noticed the same, expecially in the garden. When I started a new char I died a few times there but I still grew crazy-quick so it didnt matter.

Re: Newbie pin
I think Rhynox has a point. Let it be based on time instead. Or leave it until expert. Sure, they can go pick up the newbie helper pin again, but why not simply let them keep it instead, with the option of breaking it? When I made a new char once I didnt have a clue about where to pick up the newbie...

Genesis party pics
Anyone have them?
I'd love a trip down memory lane.
Especially those in Sweden around 99-2000ish would be fun to see if someone somehow would be sitting on some of those pics.

Re: Maps.
I kinda like in-game stuff and I think the magic map is just great. Now, it only covers newbie area, Sparkle and Gelan I think but if I remember correctly anyone is free to create ascii-maps in the same style for the other areas and send them in for incorporation in the magic map. Why not "simp...

Thanks for the changes so far
Some praise to Gorboth, Petros, Tapakah, Cotillion, Mercade, Navarre and most likely other wizards who work more in the background. After a long time where it felt like the game was kinda slowly dying I think there's been tons of great changes that atleast got me much more positive about the future....

Re: MUD Client for Apple
I am dual-booting OSX and Vista and can agree that there is no good mud client for OSX. I am using a tool named "Crossover" which allows many windows program to run in OSX. Not sure how Paralells work, but with Crossover its very simple. I just double-click my zmud.exe file and run it just...
