Re: Good Ogre
I'm all for redemption stories, but I think an ogre (in Genesis) is the hardest one to pull off, since you can't be an ogre in the game without being a corrupted humanoid that is enlisted into the Army of Darkness. It's not like you can leave the Army of Darkness and go become an ogre Calian. The di...

Re: Newbies and making money
What I'd like to see, is those newbie delivery tours or rat-killing jobs revamped to actually pay out a nice chunk of change. These things are *already* implemented in the game, so it would just be a matter of increasing payment. There's no way anyone is going to bother with rat extermination jobs a...

Re: Knights wanted!
I'm always up for fun, but Fourt is only (barely) a rising hero.

I have no idea what is going on in this thread, but it apparently involves a bunch of intoxicated Scandinavians. Stop with the drunken stupor and get real jobs ya dang socialists! We need you sober so you can make us some compact and economical furniture! And legos! Then again, maybe the alcoh...

Re: Gratitude to our Protectors!
A fun time was had by all, so thank you to the wizards who made that possible!
Although I must say... those goblins are incredibly spammy. It was nearly impossible to keep track of what was going on. A little reduction of the goblin chatter might be something to consider.

Re: Throwing rocks..
Regarding werewolves.... What has crossed my mind has been... a druid occupational guild, that focused on shapeshifting. I was thinking in terms of a jack-of-all-trades guild, where they had tools to deal with any situation, but didn't excel in any one role. I was thinking in terms of a guild that u...

Re: Description Thread
I've noticed that too, Rhaegar! I also thought the hair stylist in Gelan should include facial hair styles for men (or female dwarves!) If I were to write a description for Fourtcoer, it would look something like this: A tall, coarse man in his late middle years, Fourtcoer Whiteguard is a knight tha...

Description Thread
In a lot of MUDs, players can write a custom description of their character - including the nuances, hallmark scars, deformities, and so forth. As nifty as the hair, eye, jewelry, tattoo features, etc. are, it can't cover everything. Do you have particularly high cheekbones? Bushy eyebrows? A missin...

Re: The exceptional Polish speaking wonders of the Neidar.
On this note, I have to offer kudos to my fellow players in Europe who stick to perfect English almost 100% of the time. I'm sure there are many opportunities for people to start chatting in Swedish, Danish, etc. But I have almost never seen it. Us dumb monolingual American players really appreciate...

Re: The Dagarim Aran
Well I hope being in the Dagarim Aran is not a pre-requisite for RPing with you Tarax, otherwise I may have to rejoin. ;) I'm not sure if any one party realized how frequent the attacks on VK have been lately - in some cases down to killing Gunthar (preventing *anyone* from doing his quests for an e...
