Re: Kender XP
Jhael: Well yes... sometimes killing lots of small things is better, but for the most part I dont think it is. And I dont think we can compare single "boss" NPCs with grinding areas. If we compare grinding areas we have the top ones like Qualinost and Mithas, who are serious challenges, bu...

Kender XP
Something I have wondered for a while is... why do the tiny kenders in Kendermore give so much XP when killed? Sure maybe I am biased being a kender and is fed up with seeing them dead every time I visit my hometown, but even for someone who isn't a kender it makes absolutely no sense does it? What'...

Mage Hunt Event - January Results
Hi! So what about that mage event? Well... Ive been napping a little lately, and nobody has claimed any points since mid-january, so, there hasnt been much to update!! Also the mages have been all hiding in fear too and not been causing any trouble which means this is working! Since last update th...

Re: Army Eats Imbuements??
Yes, people do use it all the time. The reason it is both limited and very expensive is twofold. It allows you to choose the item you want to put it on. Unlike crafting items with stones, it is not limited to a single imbuement, but could roll up to three (exotic) just as in nature. The chance of g...

Re: Anniversary - What Do We Want?
I think it is important to keep it simply. Set a goal that is easy to fix, and if we get more, even better. On another mud, each christmas there was double-xp during christmas days. You were simply rewarded double in combat experience while fighting. An event would be nice, could be some kind of co...

Re: Army Eats Imbuements??
And they have earned that kind of money legit? Muahaha They may have used scripts!!!! Kill .. kill and kill again, you got the excuse. Some got rich on scripts, some got rich on just being really old and looting a lot, and if rumours are true some abused bugs and got away with it... Personally I go...

Re: Advanced Newbie Guide
Dont make it too "complete" though. Isnt part of the fun to find these things out? Asking people where to find stuff etc is a natural way to interact too.
Also I think the less text the greater the chance of it being read.

Re: Anniversary - What Do We Want?
Amorana: I think we should continue that "what is wrong with the game"-discussion somewhere else. I doubt any big core changes to the game will be made before that celebration so, we have what we have right now. And did not you and me just participate in a pretty epic RP session just month...

Re: Anniversary - What Do We Want?
Amorana: While I agree that there are things that need to be fixed, I think the game will never be fixed. There will always be things to fix. Waiting for the game to be fixed is what we have done for the last decade. No promotion until recodes, no promotion until new webpage, no promotion until tuto...

Re: Two-handed combat
If it isnt broken dont fix it?:)
No really, whats wrong with how it works now? Dual wielding (with decent skill) gives more offensive power, but you sacrifice the tanking abilities you get from a shield. Seems like a good system to me??
