Re: List of layman ideas (Middle Earth)
So it begins! Most of those sound like race/lay to be honest but hey, nice! Spawns of Shelob ?! :O What did you have in mind? What would you have in mind? Details folks! I am not sure why we are making it a Middle-Earth only list, adding new guilds is not currently something on my list of things to...

Re: The case for closure – fighter guilds
Just to be clear, I don't think I said we should close any guilds? All I have been saying is that I don't think we should start any NEW occupational guild project right now, except the two already in progress. I did say we already have too many occupational guilds (compared to the number of players...

Re: The rise of the Nameless Horror!
I'll also clarify that I am not saying no to the idea of a Khiraa or Khiraa-style guild, and I am not saying we should never make any new occupational guilds. Who knows how the situation will look a year from now, or three years from now, but right NOW it's a no to both Khiraa and other new occupat...

Ahh well Nils... you go live your best life.
I'm sorry I hurt your feelings so badly that you have to resort to insults and personal attacks.
Wasn't my intention.

I was going to wait with my reply, but Varian just demonstrated what happens when you don't pay attention in class (I might be guilty of this myself, so bear with me). I present to you, exhibit A, the link to the thread on which it happened: https://www.genesismud.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=35&...

Re: The rise of the Nameless Horror!
One of the greatest things about Genesis is the imagination it inspires in all of us. We bring concepts and ideas from all corners of the fantasy worlds, and mash them all together in the fun and quirky place we all love. We don't have to be anything we don't want to be, and it lets us feel that we ...

Re: Middle-Earth in 2017
There are no current plans to revisit existing code in either the trollshaws or the goblin caves.
Additionally, most of the ideas suggested for either of these areas have little to do with my decisions as liege since they would boil down to balance questions.

Re: Middle-Earth in 2017
And of course, Perrigrine has done a great job adding maps into the Shire, and undoubtedly will continue to help Middle-Earth (and the rest of Genesis) in 2017!!!Perrigrine wrote:These all sound awesome!
