Re: Autohunt/flee

How about if you only move a few rooms, on triggers? Isn't that equally illegal? If you move 3 or 1000 you still trigger yourself away from harm, since every time X arrives/attacks you, you move away. Namely, player combat. In this context, as the rules state movement should be done without the ben...

Re: Autohunting vs Autotracking

Mim, But if we will litarally understand this rule you put, it means we cannot use triggers to color exits while we hunt others as well. Or use trigger to automatically execute new special. Do you execute every mattack manually during fight or use trigger for it? And if you wand to follow rules as ...

Re: Autohunting vs Autotracking

If you think the rules are unclear, or misleading, or that they are applied wrong, The rules are crystal clear. "Using triggers to hunt another player...." Were triggers used in the hunt? Yes, they were. There is no mention about which part, or any part, of the hunt were triggers are allo...

Re: Underlying cause and proposed solution to broken trust

maybe it was intentionally too high Intentions are often hard to speculate in. AoB told us there was a bug in backstab. The intensions were not this much damage,. A bug was discovered the other day, and has since been fixed. This bug caused a select few who use knives as their primary weapon to exp...

Re: Autohunting vs Autotracking

Actually, MIrandus and I said the same thing. I said it's not okay to set triggers that first track and then move, which is what Mirandus said too. Mirandus just clarified that's it's okay to use a trigger for the <track> command alone when you enter a new room, as long as you type in the move comm...

Re: Autohunting vs Autotracking

This is what the rules say: Using triggers to hunt another player or using a speedwalking path to escape player versus player combat will result in: 1st offense - Warning 2nd offense - Death without recovery For this "autotracking" to be an actual benefit in PVP you'd have to set up trigg...

How about actually enabling auto-hunt functionality to the global skill "Hunting"? Would make PvP more dangerous, no?
Yes. Why not?
If there is a global tracking skill that works fine, why not a global hunting skill?
