I was thinking more in line of roleplay, when one hits you from another room one would be hurt a little bit, and because of it being from another room one has to be a good archer to hit one succesfully. Or like the idea's of Melaric....

actually it s a hope i have that one day archers could attack another from another room or from an ambush room or that if an archer attacks one in the same room he or she will not be damaged too much by the attack of the other, since they are further away from the enemy.
