Is it possible to run Zmud on windows 7, has anyone tried that and if so what version supports it?

They created Cmud for Windows 7. If you are going to run Zmud, you need to run it in compatability mode...but that only exists on Windows 7 Professional, not the home editions.

I'd consider upgrading.

If you get an error when trying start it .. right click run as administrator..

I run my old Zmud version 4.62 as I always had. It worked fine under Windows 95 (or did I have an even older version of Zmud then?), 98, NT, 2000, Vista and now Windows 7, AND it works fine under Mac OSX too (with crossover). I never did anything, it just runs everywhere on everything...

Cmud on the other hand crashed pretty often on Vista, and didnt run at all on OSX so I went back to my old version.

I finally bought a new computer and Win 7 to go with it.

Now I can't start my ancient zMud ver. 7.21. Even if I try to run it as an admin, and I've also tried to run it in compatibility modes.

Any other suggestions to fixing this?
(Besides buying CMUD, ofcourse)

is supposedly a cracked cmud now.. but man.. you are really cheap

I have windows 7 ultimate .. works there.. Should work on windows 7.

What errors do you get ?

He need a windows xp enviroment which his current version of windows can't emulate.

Best thing ive always found is to take the error code and google it, not sure if you've done that or not but usually fixes everything for me.
