Hairetikos, what are the chances you would add the chat window to the script? : )
Evil to him who evil thinks.

The Webpage Client worked nice on my Imac..
But found tt++ and have used it for the last 10 days.. its awesome to not see all the triggers execute visually on the screen like it did in Zmud.

I realize that this is an old topic, but would anyone be interested in magic map functionality in Mudlet similar to how it is displayed in the official web client? I currently have it working in my own Mudlet, but would just need to make a few changes if someone else was interested.
Edit: I'd also probably need to get permission from the developers of the official client as well.
This is what my Mudlet GUI currently looks like(this needs gmcp)

I would probably not use it, as it takes much space, but i would take a look at it.

Nice work on that one Korbah. I used to use Mudlet and thought it was a good client, but I mostly went over to the official client for the magic map and bar meters. I would be interested in seeing this developed and utilized.

Hello! I'm hoping that this works, but I am a little worried about operating systems that aren't Windows due to file io as I haven't tested on Linux yet.
The easiest way to install this package is to just not extract the zip file, but install it using the package manager. If you wanted to, you could extract the files, and then import GenesisMagicMap.xml, but then you would need to find your Mudlet profile folder and copy JSON.lua to that folder(this folder can be found by typing "lua getMudletHomeDir()" in Mudlet).
Also, GMCP must be enabled for this package to work. You can enable GMCP in the General page of Mudlet's settings.
Let me know if you have any feedback!

Yep, it works! Wasn't sure at first, but it was because I hadn't enabled GMCP.
Thanks, will do some experimenting with this!

I'm glad that it works! Let me know if there's anything you'd like me to add or change.
One thing I want to try is to make it easier to reposition and show/hide each element, and have it remember what you liked between sessions.

Huge Kudos to you guys for continuing to develop these home-spun clients. Magic Map support is an amazingly cool addition.

It works as me as well, except mana gauge which displays wrong mana level.
