Some people have heard it, some have not. But yes, Morrison attacked my team (including Yanus and Grampal) in Faerun.

See the log for yourself, it's almost 10 seconds. See the charge when I am ready and when I execute it. Supreme consitution without berserking and higher with. Two attacks with fumes and I got down from slightly hurt to vbs. The lizards damage is almost none. But yes, cowardly of Morrison to attack the team while fighting even though lizards are weak. I was lucky to survive, however Yanus did not have that luck.

My stats when I started that day, probably a little higher at the attack due to progress (with dex boots and medallion):

Quote:
You are close to improving to immortal strength.
You are halfway to progressing to graceful.
You have reached supreme constitution.
You are far from improving to ingenious.
You are halfway to advancing to sage.
You are very close to improving to lionhearted.

You are very close to developing to champion.

Quote:
Someone attacks Yanus.
A shadow falls suddenly over the area, growing quickly darker as you watch. But
no shadow is this, for as quickly as you can draw a breath it has become a
black-robed hooded male orc, who sets upon Yanus in wrath!
Suddenly the air feels heavier to breathe as the black-robed hooded male orc
draws power from the realm of shadows.
The black-robed hooded male orc gets two black-gem rings from his sturdy suede
scrip (open).
The black-robed hooded male orc wears the black-gem ring.
The black-robed hooded male orc wears the black-gem ring.
Darkness suddenly engulfs you!
Darkness suddenly engulfs you!
You run at the cruel gray-scaled lizardman with your mithril crescent-moon axe
held aloft to crash his skull, but he dodges just in time and you miss!
The cruel gray-scaled lizardman makes an aggressive move towards you, but still
seems to be out of breath.
The evil dark-scaled lizardman just nicks your body with his ancient steel
sword.
The cruel gray-scaled lizardman strikes at your legs with his left foot, but
you easily parry his attack.
A dread feeling of hopelessness sinks deep into your heart as you watch the
black-robed hooded male orc displays his contempt for Yanus!
You see Yanus suddenly slump his shoulders as a resigned look of hopelessness
fills his eyes.
The air around you seems to stiflingly thicken as the black-robed hooded male
orc inhales deeply, causing you to gasp for breath.
Yanus assists you and attacks the cruel gray-scaled lizardman.
The cruel gray-scaled lizardman screams loudly. ARRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!
The cruel gray-scaled lizardman died.
Yanus killed him.

Somewhere in the mere. It is morning. The sun begins to warm the land as it
moves through the sky. Twisted trees, vines, and thick vegetation cloak the
mist-shrouded surface of the cold saltwater swamp. Its air is foul with rotting
stenches, and its water is black and opaque. A tree stands here. It is covered
with claw marks.
There are four obvious exits: northeast, northwest, southeast and southwest.
Two rusty spiked maces, two large steel shields, two pairs of studded iron
greaves, three plain ribbed platemails, a pair of heavy iron greaves, a runed
warhammer and a heavy steel shield.

You are in combat with the black-robed hooded male orc, assisted by Grampal and

Yanus looks in his money-sack to make sure there is room left.
Yanus does a careful appraisal of his team's battle status.
Dead looking eyes dominate the face of Yanusas he sluggishly shuffles off in
the direction of the southeast exit.

You are now hunted by a black-robed hooded male orc, an evil dark-scaled
lizardman and a cruel gray-scaled lizardman.

A small round shield.
Grampal arrives from the northwest.

What do you think about this action?

I'd be curious to see Grampals log to be honest, with that kind of damage you had no resistances. High con or not it would be like Morrison taking damage with no armours on.

These are results of changes to the magic system. It was brought up when Morrison and Fluffy killed Logg. That also took them around 15-20 secs.

I do not know how big your problems are, but the killing was outside of ME. What happened to the policy? Stop acting when you cant stick to it in first place. It show nothing about who your character are, only who you're.

Not only that you looked him up and killed him outside of ME, it was cowardly done. Taking everything he'd been gathering for many hours. You know that. If I was your leader I would have thrown you out, because you're an disgrace.

Maybe my words will make you angry and maybe you want to come after me, but that would make me even more right.

It is not the first time Morrison goes on a rampage, wonder how long Gorboth will accept this now when he's a mage...

What kind of perverted satisfaction do you get from taking advantage of a game flaw and destroying the fun for other people Morrison?

I'm currently on a break and stuff like this will only prolong my absent. I'm not alone in this so..is it worth it? Decimate the population for the enjoyment of a selected few?

It took Morrison and Fluffy 20 seconds to kill Logg?

Hmmm... not sure why it took so long.

As for this log, it is obvious that you weren't prepared for the chance to encounter a Mage, hence, you learned a lesson to be careful wherever you go.

Morisson is probably bigger than the three of you combined, so take that into consideration.

Also, what exploit did Morisson use here? I thought the magic recode was complete and Mages were balanced.

Wasn't there a fight recently when a Neidar had decent magic resist that they did pretty well? Pacal comes to mind...

*shrug* I dunno. Seems like a few lavender imbues left at the tower would bring people some peace.

It's a misconception that the mage went rampage and killed soneone - he just followed orders. So no need to flame M for this at all as he had no say in the matter.

Enough said.

I did not create the thread to discuss Mages power or resistance. Read the last line.

It's to little said in my opinion. You can't just blame everything you do on orders. What if everyone started to do that? What if Gladiators started to blame killings on their berserk? *We are insane, we don't understand what we're doing*

There is a point where you must take responsibility for your actions.

About 12 years ago I almost got banned from Genesis for killing a person who was two levels above me even though we scheduled it and had audience to monitor. What followed was a meeting with wizards for several hours.

What Morrison does is to hunt down others outside ME to stab them in the back and kill them. I wonder where did the policy go? Was it blown away with the wind? Forgotten? The policy was appointed to give players (including mages) opportunity to walk the lands without being attacked outside ME.

It was there to make people thrive in the realms and keep players from going on mental killingsprees.
