Okay, I think this probably means I logged in to check it out for about 5 minutes and then didn't participate. Lame! (typical)

What year was this, Mers? If I had to guess, I would probably say 1999, judging from Caradrhas being involved and my memories of Shadowlynx in the zenith of her amazing wizard career. :-)

p.s. Seeing such a note, perfectly formatted not only with lovely columns throughout, but also JUSTIFIED right borders ... heh ... I had forgotten that she and Mercade always used to post like that. Crazy.
Seriously how is posting right justified like that possible with monospace font and no extra pad spacings.
Never thought about it till u said.
Now my mind is officially blown!

Very carefully.

OCD - a highly underrated condition when it comes to being a good wizard! ;-)

No you would have to change the words you use to fit, since their are no pad spaces?!?
*boggle*

I get that question from mortals quite often. And yes. Maybe it is time, but the two main issues with a wizday as I see it are:

1. Do we actually have enough wizards who want to participate? While the mortal population is quite healthy, we don't have a lot of active wizards.

2. I think the last wizday we had was 2006, which is 13 years ago. It would require quite a bit of testing and probably some updating for it to work today, and I've learned the hard way that reviving very old events can be quite buggy.

That said, I personally think it would be a fun event, and I have poked around a little at the code. But if another wizard reads this and thinks "Hey, I would love a wizday and would love to help make it happen", you know where to find me!

"In a bizarre turn of events, rumours fly the corpse of Bertram refused to accept death. It seemed to be walking, talking,
and in a state of confusion just as if it were still alive". Poor old Bert.
20 years has passed and the memory of the game is still a glittering gold for me, though I've never been a particularly popular player, the memories bring me the joy. How crazy is that. Thank you all.
