For some strange reason, it seems as he stopped using mattack after he got down to rather hurt...

He couldn't use it. And ogres used to get stunned when they missed their crush, seems that was removed.

Why he couldn't use it? I know that sometimes you try to mattack when you're casting and it doesn't work then.
If ogres have a special that renders opponent's specials unusable then it seems pretty powerful as quite a lot (if not most) of the damage dealt in combat comes from specials...

If Beregond was trying to cast a spell, it could've interrupted his ability to mattack quickly when it was available. It happens to me all the time.

Aye Beregond was trying to heal himself or cast peace spell. One of the two so it means mattack gets interrupted. I've noticed this with necros.... not a huge fan when two guilds unrelated to each other stop spells or specials from executing.

Yup, trying to heal as Herald cancelled my mattack too.
Extremely annoying.

Guess you have to concentrate...
Which makes sense. Not being able to melee away when trying to be a mage.
But given other guilds do not seem to have problems healing while tanking etc that should probably change.

Trying to create a peace room is gay so yeah stun em

FBB may be one of the coolest weapons in the game, but I bet he wishes he had worn a shield.
