Question:
How do you kill the Vamp?

Answer:
Helpful points --
1) Have Garlic clove
2) Have your fighting skills maxed
3) Be well armoured
4) You have to do it solo. Not in a team.

Gorboth... as I know this is quest related - if you feel this is too much info, go ahead and edit. I'm just posting what usually happens on ntell line.

(Feel free to let me know if I should add something else to the answer through PM and I will edit accordingly).

Question:
Why don't weapons/gear save?
How come my weapons/gear disappeared?

Answer:
Not all equipment/gear saves with you in order to save server space and make the game more balanced (keeps equipment hoarding to a minimum).
When you quit, only weapons that are glowing when you type 'save' will be with you when you return.
In the Newbie Area --- we recommend just selling the items each time you log out. And buying something new from the store.
Once you get into Sparkle and balance of the game -- you can join a guild (like the Cadets or Elementals) and they will have a guild armoury that you can store your gear in. This gear is shared with other players in the same guild. You can choose to try to find a hiding spot somewhere in the game. But don't be surprised if someone finds your secret stash and runs off with it.

Question:
I just arrived in Tutor Isle .. what should I do first?

Answer:
We recommend searching around the town and exploring that first. Read as many signs as you can find. (You will get qxp for filling up your sign journal before you leave Tutor Isle).

Eventually this will bring you to the demonic bunnies .. for you to try your hand at killing.

Question:
I had garlic and now it's gone!

Answer:
It will wash away in the river unless you put it in a closed backpack.

Question:
Where is the mother bunny?

Answer:
It's in the northwest part of the field, but you won't be able to see her hideout unless you train awareness skill.

Question:
Can i kill other players?

Answer:
Yes.

Question:
I want to kill that annoying human/goblin/gnome/dwarf but magic prevents me from doing so.

Answer:
The village is a non-combat area. You can attack other players outside.

Question:
Can i get that nice item from other player?

Answer:
Yes. Kill her/him and get it from the corpse.

Question:
There is a wizard in the village. What do i do?

Answer:
Ask him to make fireworks.

Question:
It says "You are too tired to move in that direction."
What do i do?

Answer:
You are tired probably because you carry too much or have not eaten anything.
Eat foods. You can buy some in the village's inn.
Eat herbs that can make you less tired. There are some to be found in the forest where wolves are.
Check your encumbrance - use 'vitals' command. If you are "collapsing under your load" then you probably carry too many things. Drop them or sell.
Sometimes there is no need to use all the armours you can.
Buy a backpack a the village's general store for storing things. You can carry more with it.

Q: How do I gather herbs?
A: That's fairly simple, all you need is a knife, some skill in herbalism and a little awareness. When you find a place, you think some herbs might grow there, simply 'search here for herbs'.

Q: How do I set up aliases?
A: The easiest way to do it is to come up with a shortcut for commands you repeat often. For instance "re" for "remove", then you simply <alias "shortcut" "command">.

You don't need a knife to gather herbs.

And what happens if you accidentally harvest a mandrake during the day? You gotta have some way to kill the screeching bugger..

(I'm not sure if there are mandrakes in Genesis.. This is simply a joke.)
